Trumeme guide

Trumeme: create your own Token & liquidity

Steps to creating your own testnet meme coin, and create a bitusd trading pair with it:

  1. Prepare a token icon image. This icon should be less than 15KB in size

  2. Upload your token icon to our github repo. To do this, you need a github account first. Instructions here may help you with direct file upload. Alternatively, for those who do not know how to use github, please send a request to our mods in discord. Our mods may help you complete the file upload process and obtain an URL to your token logo image.

  3. Head over to this page to fill in the details.

    1. Name: name of your token

    2. Symbol: symbol of your token

    3. Description: tell everyone what this token is all about

    4. Project URL: if your token has its own website, please paste the website address here

    5. Logo url: please paste the URL you obtained from step 2. Note that the image must be less than 15KB in size, and the URL must end with .jpg, .png, .gif, .jpeg, .svg (or other common image format extensions)

    6. Token Supply: total amount of this new token that will be minted

    7. Add XXX to pool: out of the total token supply specified above, the amount you enter here will be added to a newly created liquidity pool for XXX-bitusd. The remaining supply will be sent to your wallet

    8. Add bitusd to pool: Specify the amount of bitusd you want to add to the newly created XXX-bitusd pair. Note that your wallet must have this amount of bitusd, or the creation process will not succeed

    9. After the above details are filled in, hitting the Create button, approve expenditure, confirm the next transaction, and the pools will be automatically created for you

Once you have successfully minted your new token, you should be able to see it listed under the pools page:

You should also be able to trade the newly created token from the swap page:
